Big Rigs for Big Boxes

1. Very big Freightliner leads this overwide crate. The fenders are not black, but a deep red.

2. A classis Kenworth carries the other crate. It appears to have just been loaded on, so the "D" banners have not been hung on the bumpers yet.

Not to be outdone in the special commodities business, the Fastrax division of Day & Ross put these two rigs on the job to carry two oversize crates from the Fairview Cove terminal. Both trucks are well equipped with extra gear, and big power to haul the cargo.

The crates are from Andritz, an Austrian based company, that provides industrial plant systems for hydropower, pulp and paper, metals, environmental processes and the feed and biofuel industries.
