As per my tantalizing last posting, I finally got the Solugaz Western Star wrecker. Solugas is a propane dealer in Clermont, QC, which operates a fleet of half a dozen or so propane tankers and two wreckers. We'll have to wait for next year to get the KW, but this vintage 'Star has always appealed to me, I finally got an (almost) clear shot, save for one fence post, on August 28, at the Clermont base.
If the number on the hood is to be believed, it is a 1994 version. Not bad.
