This snow plastered R series Mack, complete with trombone trailer appeared in the parking lot of the Fairview Cove container terminal. It was surrounded by old cars bought at auction and waiting for export to the "third world".
The R series Mack and its many variants was the longest running series of any North American vehicle when it finally went out of production in 2004. Introduced in 1966 as the successor to the famed B Series, it epitomized the brand, despite its glass fibre hood.
This particular vehicle was carrying a Ritchie Brothers auction sticker on its front bumper. The lot number should allow someone with a Ritchie account to identify the truck model year and location of the sale.
The truck was not wearing a license plate on the front, so may have arrived on a flat bed - not on its own wheels.
