Herring travel in style

As previously reported herring seiners periodically unload their catches in Halifax depending on the season of the year. They were here in force on Saturday May 30, and there was an interesting variety of trucks to take the loads, and most were high end models.
Glistening set back KW was hauling fish boxes which were loaded on at a time, it is from Baie Ste-Anne, New Brunswick.

Nicely painted KW was looking sharp.

Sleek Pete carries an Acadian flag on its front bumper.

Western Star featured a two tone green colour scheme.

The last three trucks pictured above were running for Comeau's Seafoods Ltd of Saulnierville, NS. When not hauling herring tankers, they are just as likely to be hauling frozen fish to markets in New England.

Plane Peterbilt did not standout from the crowd, but it is nice to see a low rise sleeper.
