Loads of wood are certainly common enough on Nova Scotia highways, but it is rare to see a load "in town" as it were. On Saturday I did see a log truck at the Cardlock in the Burnside Industrial Park which was quite typical of those seen on the roads.
Hauled by an impressive Navistar International HX, this B-train was well loaded. The wood was fairly small diameter, so it is difficult to say what its end use will be. However, as it was cut in eight foot lengths, it is likely that it will be sawn for lumber.
